Our End-to-End Data Infrastructure Process

Step 1: Data Collection

We identify your data sources and collect it in 3 different ways:
 
  1. Easy – 3rd Party Services (such as Fivetran), provide very efficient and automated connections from your data source (i.e. Stripe or Instagram), pulling new data every day straight into our warehouse.
  2. Moderate – we write custom scripts with Python that pull data via API. All fully automated and executed via cloud-based variable-compute resources.
  3. Tricky – custom scrapers. In worst-possible scenario when data source does not have a framework for data extraction, we get creative.

The data is loaded and stored in Microsoft Azure cloud. The interaction happens via serverless SQL server which allows data to be accessed via Excel (even online version), Power BI, or via any other tools that support Python, SQL, other languages.

Data is broken down into 3 layers – Bronze (raw data), Silver (cleaned data), and Gold (datasets ready for reporting).

ETL = Extract, Transform, Load. Raw data in Bronze layer is cleaned, processed, aggregated, and stored in Silver and Gold layers. We utilize Microsoft Fabric`s no-code ETL (think of it as Excel`s PowerQuery in cloud and on steroids). Result – extremely efficient, comprehensive, and automated data manipulation.
We offer something no one else can brag about. We developed custom application (with some fun infrastructure behind it) to truly automate Excel workflows – in other words, Financial Analysts` or Accountants` wet dream.
 
We develop best-in-class, fully dynamic and automatic financial models, slap proprietary code on top of them, then host & run them in the cloud. In the end – you receive the most comprehensive analytics daily.
 
We also fully automate the process of 3-statement modeling, making it extremely transparent and flexible for reporting across multiple dimensions.
Our data architecture allows us to seamlessly connect the data warehouse to Power BI for the ultimate reporting (we also support Tableau and many other visualization tools). And once again – all fully automated and handled for you. Reports can be very simple and very complex – you choose what you want and need, and we will deliver it.
